Getting the latest copy of The Knitter (issue 53) a couple of weeks ago was a fab start to my design year! I've contributed two patterns for the issue: first there is a colourwork sock pattern.

And the second one is something dear to my heart: a boys' sweater to go in line with
Boys' Knits. Yes, I am on a mission to dress all the boys in the nicest knitwear possible :-) I just can't get enough!
Similar to the book's projects, this sweater is worked from the bottom up to the armhole where the sleeves are joined up with the body to be continued in the round, together. The sweater is very straightforward with a large cable at the centre front, plenty of stocking stitch
and some of my favourite details added to sleeves, cables tops and underarm finish
To top that The Knitter put together a whole two page feature spread of my designs and an interview about
Boys' Knits in the kids' addendum of the magazine. I have to tell you, it's one thing to type the answers to the interview on your computer and it's completely different to read it in the magazine! There is a smile plastered on my face even as I am now remembering reading it. All good.
great designs. didn't see the interview with you. Will look for it again. I'm interviewed in the new issue (54). I'm nervous about reading it.

DeleteI bought that copy of the Knitter this week and saw your wonderful sweater pattern. I am hoping to knit one up soon for one of my nephews. I loved your interview too and went and bought the ebook of Boys Knits.
